*falls over and dies* It's been a wonderful day. I'm tired from sheer exhaustion of studying almost ALL day, and I'm hyped by the sheer amount of caffeine me and May-chan ingested. o.o;;; gads, I havn't drank that much in AGES. And we skipped dinner, coz we had too much liquid thru the course of the day, and now that I'm home and clean, I'm HUNGRY. T.T
Actually, the "wonderful" wasn't ALL sarcastic. :P I mean, May-chan's actually a pretty good teacher, and she isn't a bad student, either. ( surprised, May-chan? :P ) For one thing, she didn't keep insisting that she was right when she wasn't, and was patient enough not to kill me when ALL the stupid Amaths formulas were sitting in front of my face, and I STILL kept whining that I didn't understand the bloody thing. ( Yes, I am not a good student. But at least no one argues about my teaching method! ... Not really, anyway. :P ) Better yet, I got Aine-chan's manga!!! XD XD XD XD I've flipped thru the first book, and it's... purty. ^_______^ Another bit of good news; I have new Pratchett books! Thief of Time and The Dark Side Of The Sun. ^____________^ I'm a happy camper now. ( Thanks, Aine. XD XD XD XD Wish you had come though... It'd would've been crazier, for one thing. :P )
Another thing that made the day fun was the jigsaw puzzle I bought. ^_______^ May-chan's gonna make it then give it to me. The pikshur is sooooooo pretty!!!! I'll scan it or something if I can. XD It's really cool, although it isn't anime or manga. The main colour is blue, and it's sorta... dream-like. VERY nice art. :D
Strangely enough, me and May-chan really DID manage to get work done. Usually, we're too busy talking crap/reading/discussing anime/manga/fanfics to do much studying. It was great! ^_______^ Can't wait to do it again. It was interesting. And I FINALLY know how to do Binomial and R-expression, although I'm still a bit lost with the R-expression thing.
May-chan: since you hate Redox so much, that's what we're gonna do next. :P It'll help you improve at least... and maybe you won't hate it that much, although this is fairly unlikely. This time round though, we're gonna be in my home area, okay? Fair's fair... Oh, and THIS time, we aren't going to drink that much caffeine! *is shivering now* ~_~ I'm not as immune to caffeine as I used to be.
Anyway, Aine-chan, thanks. ^________^ Kaori-chan, we have to get together and vandalise May-chan's other TYS answer sheets next time. XD XD XD XD XD
*eeps* I still have to study Geography with Jing, do one Amaths paper at least ( May-chan's advice), finish up my Geography homework, do some Binomial and R-expression questions in the TYS, AND eat some stuff. ~_~ I'm screwed. ( I only have about... 2 hours for that. T.T Wish me luck. )
Ne, May-chan, don't do the jigsaw puzzle unless you really need to relax 'kay? And don't do it before you complete your work either! I don't wanna be accused of distracting you from your studying. :P

Okay, okay.. it was just a BIT, but still. ^_^ I did it!!! XD I'll probably still need help with the layout though... :P But maybe not as much ^_^ May-chan: you should be glad to hear that.
Hopefully, the smaller font doesn't make it TOO hard to read... but I didn't realise I could write THAT much crap in two days. -_-;;;; so I'm gonna shrink the words for a while. If anyone really objects to it, email me at kantras@hotmail.com I'll try to fix it.

*screams in frustration and throws her amaths AWAY* Almost two straight hours of Amaths, and I havn't even completed ONE paper yet!!!! *grrr* Granted, it's a prelim paper, which tends to be har-- MORE DIFFICULT )[as May-chan nicely pointed out in an effort to make me stop whining at her. :P ]( As you can see, excessive exposure to amaths has, by no means, cleaned up my mind/thought processes. :P )
Anyway, one more consolation is that it's a bloody RI paper. ~_~ Why do all those people have to be so SMART?! I mean, isn't it enough that coz so many of them had A1's for the Chinese O's that the entire grade-curve thing had to be pulled down?! ( We heard this from a teacher, so I think it's fairly reliable. Apparantly, so many of them had A1's that they had to adjust the percentage for A1's and stuff. That's why so many people ended up with B3. Oh yeah, since I'm on the topic, are you happy with your results, Aine? If I remember correctly, Kaori takes higher chinese, yesno?)
Hmmm... my blog looks like a messageboard. Or a babble-board. o.o;;; Anyway, for those of you who are about to take your exams, don't study TOO hard, and don't stress yourselves out. It won't help if you're too tense. Try to relax your muscles a bit so you can sleep properly, and GET ENOUGH SLEEP!!! ( the last one is something that May-chan doesn't really need to hear. :P but in case any of you others are the kind that stay awake until 3am studying, and get up at 6am to go to school... )
I think I'm getting better at having conversations with myself. :P I used to have a messageboard, and I could never think of stuff to put up. Put it this way, May-chan puts up new stories three times as often as I used to write on my board. Specific enough? :P Anyway, I guess this is sorta fun... but I hope I won't get addicted or anything. I mean, yes, it's great, but d00d, if I spend like... 3 hours online a day, my prelims are well and truly screwed. ~_~ and I DO need to get good grades. I'm sorta aiming for a 6 pointer for my L1R5, if I can. Unlikely, but I'm hoping. The bad thing: I CANNOT concentrate for too long, and I keep wanting to SLACK. T.T

guess what? I'm sitting in front of my 'puter. I'm doing Maths. When I could be off reading some bits of interesting yaoi stuff that includes D and Leon. T.T Life sucks.
Why am I tempting myself and doing my homework in front of the 'puter? Simple. My sister is sleeping. In MY room, which means I have no space to do ANYTHING. And since HER room is being painted, I can't chase her out of my room into her own. Since her boyfriend's around, I can't throw them into my mom's room, either. Great. Since I REFUSE to study in my parents' room, coz it has a TV, a radio, a VCD player, cable TV and aircon, PLUS a big, BIG bed, I'm stuck either with the 'puter table or the downstairs dining room table, where I'd become Exhibit A for anyone walking into the house to visit my grandaunt. Thank you, NO.
Anyway, I'm listening to Love Spirals Downwards, which May-chan sent to me in HUGE files. [MAY-CHAN!!! I LURVE U!!!!] XD XD XD XD I love this band, and I also loooooooove GACKT!!! The music is SOOOO good!!!! XD XD *sighs* But it's also fairly depressing. I mean, I /like/ depressing music, but... not when I'm studying.
Hmmm... y'know, this is just idle speculation, but WHY do I have so many close friends who are so bloody DIFFERENT? I mean, okay, to pick an example, May-chan is WAY WAY WAY different from Jing, who's a friend from school, who has absolutely NO interest in manga or storybooks ( although she thinks Pratchett is funny) and gets freaked out when I mention yaoi ( in terms she understands, btw. ). On the other hand, we have Meia, who's a rabid yaoi fan, and looooves manga and anime, and also reads a LOT. *sweatdrop* That's not even the most contrasting comparison I can come up with! But strangely enough... a lot of my friends like art. I mean, they either have an interest in it, like May-chan, who draws when she feels like it, and can come up with GREAT pieces of art, and Jing, who's in AEP ( 'nuff said. [Note: AEP means Art Elective Programme, and is only taken by people whose art is REALLY good, or by rabid art-lovers who also have talent. ]) and Arpita, who can use watercolours (!!! *envy* ) sometimes, and Grace, who draws shoujo-style manga-ish sorta pikshurs ( Look, Kaori! A partner in arms!! :P ).
*sighs* Oh well... it's weird... even their tastes in music are really different. I mean, I don't think Jing'll look for Love Spirals Downwards music, although she'd probably say it's nice if she ever heard it, and May-chan isn't really THAT much of an Alternative music fan. Arpita goes for alternative or SOME ballads, while Grace is a Disney ballads sorta girl. *puzzled look*
Then there's me, who listens to almost all kinds of music, including Heavy Metal, Alternative, Classical, Ballads, Jpop, Pop ( and I mean stuff like boybands, and songs that make May-chan call me a teeny-bopper) etc. ... I'm probably the cause of it. :P When you're weird, you get lotsa weird friends... Although that can be fun, sometimes. But it makes it hard to live, sometimes. I mean, hanging out/going to places like Kino with May-chan and Aine-chan is fun, but I think if I treated them the way I usually treat my school friends, they'd be giving me sorta weird looks. And if I mention manga/anime in school, all I'd get would be befuddled, confused, uninterested etc looks.
You get my point. *sighs* See? The music is already taking its toll on me. I have an idea for a Pan-fic that I wanna write, but not now. It'd come out depressing as hell. ( Not to say that the original idea was a happy, sparkly kinda thing, but... )
Homework/Revision time. Bai...

I think May-chan's used to me waking up before 12 now. She barely even squeaks when I make an appearance before lunchtime now. That's sad... I mean, things become so routine it isn't even SURPRISING now... :P Yes, I am bored. I am afraid to look at homework. I am dying not to do Amaths and/or Emaths. T.T This world would be a lot happier (at least for students like us) if we didn't have to study Maths, and things like Calculus, which is technically part of Amaths. *whine*
I NEED NEW STUFF TO REEEEAAAD!!!! *ears perk up* What's this I hear about a new Pratchett book? I already have The Truth, which is kinda cute, and which I refused to lend to May-chan coz I've only read it once thru, which is barely enough, and I want other new Pratchett stuff to read!! *looks back at sentence* o.o;;; Well, I'd better remember not to do THAT during my English prelims. Oh, by the way, Aine-chan, the reason why I'm not freaking out for English prelims is coz it's around the last few days of August. And anyway, I can't study for it. I mean... English is... English. Oh, and my comprehension actually depends on how cohesive the bloody passage is. And actually, it sorta helps if you are the type who can read a question and immediately understand what they're asking for. Then you'll rarely write out-of-point, even in essays. :P Just a bit of advice. It usually works for me, so...
And I think your prelims start earlier than mine, and end earlier, too, yesno? ( I like that word! ^_________^ YESNO! YESNO YESNO YESNO!!! .... I'll stop now. :P ) Only my English prelim is before the September one week holidays. The rest come after that. (except for History, which I don't take. :P It's on the 30th of August. I think.) Anyway, good luck for your prelims, Aine-chan, Kaori-chan, Meia-chan and the rest of T3... Hope you get lotsa 'A's and stuff! Oh, and Aine-chan, I /havn't/ studied yet. I can't concentrate long enough. -_-;;; I am SO screwed.

*yawns* It's too bloody late to be doing Emaths anymore, so I'm back online! XD I love having a blog. Now I can blabber all sorts of stuff! It's even better than a messageboard, coz it's ALL MIIIINEEEE!!!! *evil laughter*
*ahem* Right. Anyway, Aine-chan, we DID study... sorta... :P We kinda went thru a little bit of Redox, and we kinda were killing the stupid TYS.
Note: The pagename Smoke In Mirrors may or may not be temporary, but I like it.... I'll try to think of something else though, in case May-chan takes offense. *ducks and hides* The layout is also temporary ( I think) until I can create/beg May-chan to create one for me. I kinda like this though: plain and simple... although after a few months I'll probably scream and kill myself with its sheer simplicity. :P
Oh yeah, Aine-chan, you're prolly going to find out about this soon anyway, but May-chan borrowed some/ a few of my yaoi-ish manga. She didn't wanna borrow the sweet, sappy one, but picked the depressive one instead. *wince* Ah well, at least she didn't borrow Bronze. Speaking of Bronze...
Bronze is soooooooooooooooooo depressing!!!! T.T It's bloody sad! You should read it sometime. It's like... one of the guys cut off his freakin' ARM. I /liked/ that character... and he was a SINGER, for heaven's sake. *sheesh* That manga is REALLY drama-ish and angsty.
It's not that I have anything against angst, but MAN, that is DEPRESSING. I mean, come on, he cuts off his left arm in the name of love. ~_~ Ew. I mean, like, okay, it DOES show how much he loves him, but... ew.

Hi, this is just a test, and since the only person who's going to read this for a looooooong while is right next to me, that's okay.
YAY!!!! I have new stuff to read! ... Well, relatively new... Well, relatively unread... Well, it's GAIMAN!!!!! XD XD XD XD XD XD *cough* /Anyway/, since May-chan is probably going to link this page to her blog, so I'm just gonna apologize for not having a proper "personalised" layout or something. I have EXCUSES!!! Don'tKILLmePLEASE!!!!
*ahem* LIKE I was saying, I have my reasons for not putting up a new, pretty, personalised layout... 1. I do NOT know how to MAKE a layout. ( I hope this is temporary, and I'll TRY and learn from May-chan, who isn't the best teacher in the world, I have to say *ducks* ) 2. The stupid exams are coming... T.T I'm gonna DIE. See? It IS a valid excuse not to make a layout right? :P
